Trouser suit

These little trousers remind me of the old fashioned pram suits your used to get many years ago before snowsuits were invented, and with the addition of a smart matching little jumper really makes a cute little set, and I have enough yarn to make a little hat to match at some point before the weather gets to cold.  

This set will for 16" chest which is an average 3 month baby.

To make these I used #Patons Fab DK, in white with random blue, grey and brown splashes of colour,  this yard is machine washable and tumble dryable always good.

I really love knitting with #Patons Fab DK it's super soft machine washable and tumble dryable on low which is always good.

This lovely little cardigan has 4 buttons and a diamond pattern panel around the bottom.

This little cardigan will keep any little baby lovely and warm.

Tiny jumper

This weeks make is a brown and cream striped jumper made from #JamesCBrett top value double knit which is machine washable.

This yarn is super soft and and will be baby lovely and warm, the additional of the 3 buttons makes it easier to get on and off,

Cuddly cardigan

Lemon yellow cardigan 

This super little cardigan is another pattern that I've been knitting for over 35 yrs, its super cuddly and  warm.  

It's knitted using #Hayfields baby bonus double knit and it's machine washable and tumble dryable which is a bonus.  

It's has 4 lovely buttons and will look lovely over a little outfit or even just over a babygro to keep babe warm.

Soggys new dress

New dress for Soggy the bunny rabbit

A few weeks ago I asked a friend if his 2 little girls had dollies, and if they wanted any clothes.

Neither of the girls have dolls but they both have toy bunnies Soggy and Dribbly,! and would I make something for Soggy.

So into the fat quarters stash I went, and having been told Soggy likes butterflies I found this material and as its a double sided dress I also picked one with pretty pink flowers.

this is the template I used which I machined all around I turned it rightways out and them machined all around again

after machining all around I added RikRac to make the shoulders then added 2 poppers

the front as you can see the Rikrac adds the little finishing touch

Super soft cardigan

This weeks make is a super soft white cardigan 16" chest with a square pattern, I made this using #Kingcole comfort double knit in white, its machine washable and can be tumbled on a cool setting.

This yarn is so super soft its feels like cotton wool and will be cozy against any new baby's delicate skin.

This cardigan also has 4 buttons and a v neck.  And there's enough yard left for a hat to keep babe toasty warm and maybe a pair of mittens too.

Classic cardigan

Classic white cardigan, I first made this cardigan back in 1983 and every baby since either family or friends has had at least one.

This one is made from #Stylecraft special double knit which is machine washable and tumble dryable on a low heat.
